Open Call August 30th, 2023, 6pm Russo's On The Bay - 162-45 Crossbay Boulevard, Howard Beach, NY 11414 Russo's On The Bay is a popular events and catering venue located in the heart of Queens, is currently seeking experience bartenders to join our team.
Our team strives to create an exceptional customer experience for every memorable milestone in our guest's lives.
Our operations involve servicing multiple event spaces across both Russo's On the Bay and our sister company Vetro Restaurant and Lounge.
We have a dedicated staff allotted for both locations and flexibility in our scheduling to afford our employees additional opportunities.
Our events are the lavish, sumptuous occasions that our guests throughout all of New York City have come to know and expect from the brand.
We are looking for Bartenders with advanced experience in mixology and the ability to serve a large volume of guests over a prolonged period.
Some duties include welcoming guests, reading and listening to determine their beverage preferences; Making recommendations of signature cocktails and taking drink orders; Checking identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age; Taking inventory of bar supplies before, during and after event; Maintaining cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, fruit trays and liquor cabinets; Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations Required:
High School Diploma & NY Bartending Certificate Required.

We are looking for Bar Runners to support bartenders & servers throughout events with opening and closing duties, that include the following:
Learning to make cocktails, assisting with serving beverages; Stocking the bar with liquor, ice, glassware, and supplies; Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar; Maintaining cleanliness and organization in liquor, beer, and wine storage areas; Setting up various beverage stations; Running food and clearing tables Job Type:
Part-time/ Salary $15 per hour, plus tips/ Shifts - Days, Evenings, Nights Weekly Range - Monday to Friday, Weekends.
